System Requirements & Browser Settings
The only major system requirement
for EMAS.net is Internet Explorer version 5.0 and above. The default functions
of Internet Explorer should allow users to access all the functions of netProductivity. Should you encounter any problems, we
recommend that you try the following procedures.
Enable Active Scripting & Java applets
1. On Internet Explorer, select ‘Tools’ – ‘Internet
Options’ – ‘Security tab’ - Custom level.
2. Check the radio buttons next to ‘Enable’ for active
scripting and java applets.

Enable cookies in Browser
1. On Internet Explorer version, select Tools’ – ‘Internet
Options’ – ‘Privacy’.
2. Select the privacy settings by dragging the settings
bar to Medium.
Turning off IE’s Pop-up Blocker
* The steps below show how you can alter the settings for IE’s built-in
pop-up blocker. Please ensure that you disable or change the settings of any
other pop-up blocker that you use (Yahoo, Google
toolbar etc.).
Later versions of Internet Explorer
will feature a Pop-up Blocker. You will need to alter the Pop-up Blocker’s
settings to be able to use EMAS.net.
1. Select ‘Tools’ – ‘Internet Options’ – ‘Privacy’.
2. Under ‘Pop-up Blocker’, click on ‘Settings’.

3. Enter the address of the website you will use to
access EMAS.net.
4. Click on ‘Add’.
5. Click on ‘Close’.
